Housing Inquiry

WALT:  gather information

Every Wednesday we have been learning about the inquiry process while finding out about different houses around the world. First we chose a question and then researched to find the answer to our question. Our question was ‘What are houses like in japan and why are they like this? Each group had to pick a country and inquiry into what their houses are like, present their findings in a Haiku Deck and then build their house in Minecraft.

I think that I am on the Novice stage because with a buddy I can get a lot of work done.

Evaluation:
1. What are you most proud of? I am most proud of the house that I am making on Minecraft.
2. What did you find challenging? I found making a house out of Ice Block sticks and plasticine.
3.  My next ‘Get It’ goal is? I would like to find out more about  Houses in Japan.

Hands on homework

This is my hands on homework. This is what I had to do:
The structure of your cartoon is very simple - one road sign and one bad thing happening per frame. Try to think of all the things you are scared of and see if you can include these as hazards along the way.

You need to have at least 5 frames and your pictures can be drawn anyway you like (Kidpix, Artrage, hand drawing).

Also to make the cartoon you can use anything you like too! Maybe Comic Life, Frame Magic, Pic Collage, Hand Drawing.
