Anzac Day

This is my haiku poem
Anzac Day

Solders are merging,
men getting ready to shoot.
Guns locked and loaded.

Men are triggering,
they are falling from their dream,
Surviving the war.

Finally the end,
Poppies shooting from the ground,
They now rest in peace.

Lest we will forget
Anzac Day is important because they fought for land and peace. We now live in peace thanks to them. They fought for us. They new it was dangerous but they went anyway. Many died many survived and we remember those who survived, we bless those who didn't.
